/admin/config. The page is organized into four tabs — Identity, Payments, Alerts, and Profile — each covering a distinct aspect of your setup. A sticky footer bar containing the Save button stays visible no matter how far you scroll, so your changes are always one click away from being applied.
Identity Tab
The Identity tab (/admin/config → Identity) controls your hotel’s brand presentation and the connectivity details your guests see inside the menu app.

Both fields are displayed to guests inside the menu app so they can connect without asking staff. Leave them blank if you prefer not to show Wi-Fi details publicly.
Payments Tab
The Payments tab lets you configure the digital payment methods guests can use to settle their bills. You can add as many providers as your hotel supports.Adding a Payment Method

Open the Add Payment form
On the Payments tab, locate the Add Payment Method panel.

Select a provider
Choose a provider from the Type dropdown. Available options include TeleBirr, CBE, Awash Bank, Dashen Bank, and others.

Fill in the details

Save the method
Click “Add [Provider Name]” (the button label updates to match the selected provider). The new method appears in your list immediately.
TeleBirr requires a valid Ethiopian mobile number. Accepted formats are 09XXXXXXXX, 07XXXXXXXX, or +2519XXXXXXXX / +2517XXXXXXXX.
Managing Your Payment Methods
Once added, each payment method appears as a row in the list. You can:- Click ↑ or ↓ to reorder methods — guests see them in the order you set.
- Click ✕ to remove a method you no longer accept.
If you add no payment methods at all, guests will be prompted to call the waiter for payment assistance rather than seeing a payment screen.
Alerts Tab
The Alerts tab controls the in-browser audio cues that notify your staff of activity, and connects MesobOrdering to a Telegram bot for real-time notifications.Sound Alert Toggles

Start the linking process
On the Alerts tab, click “Connect Telegram”. A 6-digit link code appears on screen.

Note your code
Keep this page open and take note of the 6-digit code displayed. You’ll need it in the next step.

Open Telegram and find the bot
On your phone or desktop, open Telegram and search for @AlphaBotServiceBot.

Send the link command
Send the following message to the bot:
/link [YOUR CODE] — replacing [YOUR CODE] with the 6-digit code. Use the Copy button next to the code to copy the full command to your clipboard, then paste it into the Telegram chat.5
Verify the connection
Return to the Alerts tab in MesobOrdering and click “Check Status”.

Confirm success
Once linked, the Telegram section turns green and displays “Telegram is connected”. Your bot will now forward notifications to the linked chat.
Link codes expire after 10 minutes. If yours expires before you complete the steps, click “New Code” to generate a fresh one and start from Step 2.
Profile Tab
The Profile tab defines your hotel’s public-facing listing — what guests see when they scan your QR code and view your hotel’s details page.Public Profile

You can pin your hotel on the map using any of three methods:- Auto-Detect GPS — Click the Detect button to use your browser’s location to set the coordinates automatically.
- Manual Coordinates — Type your Latitude and Longitude values, then click “Generate Map from Coordinates” to plot the pin.
- Address to Map — Type your address into the address field and click the → button to geocode it into map coordinates.
