/staff gives you a live window into everything happening on your floor right now. As an admin, you can observe and act on the full operational state — active tables, incoming orders, revenue metrics, and staff alerts — without switching roles or logging in as a different user. Everything your waiters and cashiers see is visible to you in one place.
Staff Dashboard Overview
The Staff Dashboard is your command center. It surfaces the most time-sensitive information at the top and lets you drill into details or trigger actions without navigating away.Real-Time Alerts Panel
Two types of dismissible alert banners appear at the top of the dashboard whenever they are triggered:
Alerts stack in order of arrival. Dismiss each one individually after you or a staff member has responded to it.
Stats Cards
Four summary cards give you an at-a-glance snapshot of current business activity:Quick Actions Row
Below the stats cards, four shortcut buttons let you jump directly to the most-used sections of the platform:Active Tables List
Scrolling past the quick actions, you’ll find a list of every table that currently has an open session. Each row shows:- Table name / number
- Guest count for that session
- Current total — the running bill value for all orders at that table
- View button — opens the full table detail
- Bill button — jumps directly to the bill for that table
Recent Orders Table
The Recent Orders table shows the last 10 orders placed across all tables. Each row displays:- Order ID and Table
- Items summary
- Order total
- Status badge — one of the following:
- Quick action buttons — View opens the full order detail; Start Prep advances a
PENDINGorder toPREPARINGdirectly from this table.
System Notifications
At the bottom of the dashboard, the System Notifications panel surfaces any platform-level alerts — for example, integration errors, configuration warnings, or connectivity issues. When everything is running normally, the panel displays:No New NotificationsCheck this panel if staff report unexpected behavior, such as orders not routing to the kitchen or payment processing delays.
