# Get Started with MesobOrdering in Minutes

> Launch your hotel on MesobOrdering in four steps: log in, configure your brand, build your digital menu, and add your staff team to go live.

This guide walks you through everything you need to do to take your hotel from a fresh MesobOrdering account to a fully operational digital ordering setup. By the end, you'll have your hotel identity configured, your menu published, your team accounts created, and your QR codes ready to place on tables.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Log In">
    Open your browser and go to [https://mesobordering.com/login](https://mesobordering.com/login). Enter your registered email address and password, then click **Sign In**.

    If you've forgotten your password, click **Forgot Password?** below the sign-in form. You'll receive a password reset link at your registered email address — follow the link to set a new password and log in.

    <Note>
      If your subscription is in a **PENDING** or **SUSPENDED** state, you'll land on an onboarding screen instead of the main dashboard. Follow the on-screen prompts to resolve your subscription status before continuing.
    </Note>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Configure Your Hotel Identity">
    Once you're logged in, navigate to **System Config** (see [System Configuration](/system-config)) using the left sidebar. This is where you set up how your hotel appears to guests and staff across the platform.

    Fill in the following fields and click **Save** when you're done:

    * **Hotel Name** — your property's display name, shown on the guest menu and receipts.
    * **Brand Color** — the primary color used throughout your guest-facing menu interface.
    * **Logo** — upload your hotel's logo (recommended: PNG with transparent background).
    * **Wi-Fi SSID** — the name of your hotel's guest Wi-Fi network.
    * **Wi-Fi Password** — the guest Wi-Fi password, displayed on the menu for convenience.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Build Your Menu">
    Go to **Menu Manager** (see [Menu Manager](/menu-manager)) in the left sidebar. Your menu is organised into categories (for example, *Starters*, *Mains*, *Cocktails*) with individual items nested inside each one.

    Start by creating at least one category, then add menu items under it. For each item, provide:

    * **Name and description** — help guests understand what they're ordering.
    * **Price** — displayed in your configured currency.
    * **Department** — assign each item to either **Kitchen** or **Bar** so orders are routed to the correct team.

    Repeat this process until your full menu is built out. Changes go live immediately — no publish step required.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add Your Team">
    Navigate to **Staff Management** (see [Staff Management](/staff-management)). Here you create login accounts for every member of staff who will use MesobOrdering during service.

    Add accounts for each role your operation requires:

    * **Waiters** — for taking and tracking table orders.
    * **Kitchen staff** — for the Kitchen View order queue.
    * **Bar staff** — for the Bar order queue.
    * **Cashiers** — for processing payments and closing tabs.

    Assign each team member a temporary password when creating their account. Advise them to change it on first login.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Go Live">
    You're ready to start taking orders. Print or display your QR codes and place them on each guest table. When a guest scans a code, their device opens your digital menu automatically in the browser — no app required.

    You and your team can monitor incoming orders in real time from the [Staff Dashboard](/operations-overview). Orders are automatically routed to the Kitchen View or Bar queue based on the department you assigned to each menu item.
